Course and assessment.
The course has two units. The first covers the management of health and safety and is assessed by an open-book exam taken online. The second is a practical risk assessment.
On a classroom course, the first unit is taught in week one and the second in week two.
Most learners complete the qualification within six months. NEBOSH allows up to five years to complete both assessments.
The qualification is a good foundation for the NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma.
Common questions.
Which learning option should I choose?
Online suits people who want to fit study around work. Virtual and classroom courses suit those who prefer a tutor and fixed dates. We can talk it through with you.
Do I need any qualifications first?
No. There are no formal entry requirements, and it is a common first step for people starting out in health and safety.
Where do I sit the exam?
Open-book exams can be taken in a location of your choice. Astutis explains the arrangements when you enrol.
Can my employer book several people?
Yes. Astutis offers in-company delivery and corporate arrangements. Talk to us and we will point you in the right direction.
Developing a whole team?
Adept Safety is a training partner of Astutis. If you book through this page we may receive a commission, at no extra cost to you. Course content, prices, dates and accreditation are set by Astutis and NEBOSH.
