The legal position.
The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate first-aid equipment, facilities and trained people.
The right number of first aiders depends on your workplace, its hazards and how many people work there.
An online course builds knowledge and confidence. It does not replace a practical, assessed first aid qualification where you need a certified first aider.

Yes. After passing the test, each learner gets a printable certificate showing the course and the date.
