The legal position.
In England and Wales, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires the responsible person to carry out a fire risk assessment and make sure employees receive fire safety training.
Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own fire safety legislation.
This is awareness-level training. It does not qualify anyone as a fire marshal or give practical extinguisher experience.
Common questions.
Does this make me a fire marshal?
No. It is awareness training. Fire marshal training is separate and usually includes practical elements. Ask us if you need it.
Do learners get a certificate?
Yes. After passing the test, each learner gets a printable certificate showing the course and the date.
Can I train a whole team?
Yes. Tell us how many people and when, and we will confirm the arrangements and price.
