What you’ll learn.

- Understand safe positioning and exclusion zones
The legal position.
Employers must manage workplace transport risks under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and related regulations.
The HSE’s guidance on workplace transport safety (HSG136) covers reversing vehicles and the use of banksmen.
This is awareness training. A supervisor should confirm practical competence on your own site before someone works unsupervised as a banksman.
Common questions.
Does this give me a banksman card?
No. It builds knowledge and is not a card scheme qualification. If a client needs a specific card, tell us and we can advise.
Do learners get a certificate?
Yes. After passing the test, each learner gets a printable certificate showing the course and the date.
Can I train a whole team?
Yes. Tell us how many people and when, and we will confirm the arrangements and price.
